CV NEWS FEED // The tool company Stanley Black and Decker has become the most recent American company to end its “woke” policies, according to conservative commentator Robby Starbuck.
Starbuck posted the company’s changes to his X account, stating that the company changed course after he wrote them that he was planning on exposing their progressive policies.
The changes include:
• Ending participation in the @HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index social credit system.
• Dismantling their entire DEI department.
• No more DEI based training programs.
• No more donations to divisive events.
• They will now have BRG groups [business resource groups, which are employee-led groups for professional growth based on various interests] that are open to all employees, no longer designed to focus on race or sexual orientation but instead must focus on the core business.
• No more supplier diversity goals.
• Will reevaluate their coverage for transitioning kids when their healthcare policy renewal period comes back around.
Stanley Black and Decker owns multiple tool companies, including Dewalt, Stanley, Black and Decker, and Craftsman, Starbuck reports.
Before changing policies, the company had provided coverage for gender “transition” procedures for minors. Starbuck states that the company is re-evaluating this coverage.
Starbuck is responsible for encouraging Lowes, Tractor Supply Co, Ford, Jack Daniels, Coors Light, and Harley-Davidson to end radically progressive policies, as CatholicVote has previously reported.
