CV NEWS FEED // Documents naming almost 200 people connected to Jeffrey Epstein were unsealed Wednesday, revealing that former President Bill Clinton was an “associate” of the dead serial child sex trafficker.
CatholicVote reported last month that “according to the New York Post, the documents originate from the ‘settled defamation lawsuit that Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre brought against the convicted pedophile’s madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, back in 2015.’”
The documents included names of both Epstein associates and victims of his ring. These individuals were before listed in court proceedings as “John Does” and “Jane Does.”
Business Insider reported Wednesday that Clinton “was previously identified as ‘Doe 36’ and was named in dozens of redacted court filings.”
The 42nd president “didn’t object to unsealing the documents naming him, and the documents aren’t expected to level any new accusations of wrongdoing against him,” the Insider added:
In one newly unsealed document, an excerpt of a deposition given by Maxwell, Maxwell says that she didn’t know how many times Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet but that she’s “sure” he had a meal while flying on it.
In a transcript of a deposition, one of Epstein’s victims said that the notorious sex trafficker told her “one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls.”
Another prominent politician named in the documents was former Democratic New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson.
Richardson, who died last September, served in the Clinton administration as both Secretary of Energy and Ambassador to the United Nations (UN). He was also the chair of the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
The documents also identified Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the younger brother of King Charles III, as an associate of Epstein’s. Giuffre has since 2014 claimed that Epstein trafficked her to the now-disgraced British royal when she was still a minor.
FOX News indicated that the infamous French modeling scout Jean-Luc Brunel, “who like Epstein died while awaiting trial,” was also named.
FOX continued:
Other names unsealed Wednesday included billionaire Glenn Dubin and his former private chef Rinaldo Rizzo, David Copperfield, Tony Figueroa, Limited Brands founder and former Victoria’s Secret CEO Lex Wexner, and Epstein accusers such as Johanna Sjoberg and Annie Farmer.
In another one of the documents, Giuffre was recorded saying “I believe I was with Tom [Pritzker] once.” Pritzker is a major Democratic operative, the chairman of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, and the first cousin of Democratic Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.
On December 18, Senior Judge Loretta Preska of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered the documents to be unsealed in full.
Preska stayed her order for two weeks to allow any person set to be identified a chance to appeal her decision.
