CV NEWS FEED // A new Trafalgar Group poll found that a widespread majority of American voters, including over 40% of Democrats, say they are not likely to vote for midterm candidates who support “gender transitions” for children.
The poll asked: “Are you more or less likely to vote for a candidate in the 2022 midterms elections who supports allowing underage minors to use puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and undergo sex-change surgeries?”
Despite a tremendous amount of support from leading figures on the political Left, even 42.7% of Democratic voters said they would be unlikely to vote for a candidate who supports child “trans” treatments and surgeries.
Twenty-six percent of Democrats said they would be “not likely at all” to vote for such a candidate.
Rejection of the controversial “trans” agenda for children was much stronger among Republicans, with 93% saying they would be less likely to support candidates who back it. Significantly, Independents were 71% unfavorable – roughly in line with the overall majority of Americans, who were 72.7% unfavorable.
