CV NEWS FEED // New statistics from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show an exponential increase in migrants from Communist China illegally crossing the border over the past six months compared to the beginning of Joe Biden’s presidency.
FOX News Chief Political Anchor Bret Baier wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Wednesday, that according to this data, “Border Patrol has apprehended 24,296 Chinese nationals crossing illegally between ports of entry,” during the first six months of Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24).
“The overwhelming majority (85%) of them were single adults (20,868),” Baier elaborated.
FY24 began on October 1, 2023. Therefore, its sixth month ended on March 31, 2024.
Baier said that the number of apprehended illegal Chinese migrants between October and the end of March “has already exceeded the TOTAL” from the 12 month Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23), which was 24,125.
The anchor pointed out that only 324 Chinese migrants were apprehended by Border Patrol in the entirety of Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21).
In other words, over 70 times more illegal Chinese migrants were found to enter the country between October 2023 and the end of last month, than the entire 12-month period between October 1, 2020 and September 30, 2021.
President Joe Biden assumed office a few months into FY21.
National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Brandon Judd called the surge in migrants from Communist China “a very scary prospect.”
“We know that China does not like us,” Judd continued. “We know that we are in the crosshairs of China. And they are exporting so many people to our country, and you have to really fear about that.”
The NBPC is the official labor union of the U.S. Border Patrol.
In addition, FOX News noted that “[t]his week, a bipartisan House report found the Chinese government has given tax rebates and grants to companies that make certain fentanyl and synthetic drug precursors used by drug traffickers as long as they are sold outside of China.”
“Through subsidies, grants, and other incentives, the [People’s Republic of China (PRC)] harms Americans while enriching PRC companies,” the report from the House Select Committee on China states, as NBC News indicated Tuesday.

NBC further noted: “The committee said in its report it has ‘found no evidence of new criminal enforcement actions’ to curb the flow of fentanyl chemicals into the U.S.”
Wednesday, former Trump administration Attorney General William Barr wrote an op-ed in The New York Post stating: “The mass importation of Chinese fentanyl is slaughtering Americans at an annual rate equal to that of our bloodiest year in World War II.”
“China is actively encouraging and facilitating this campaign of mass murder,” continued Barr, a Catholic, who cited the House report.
“It is a euphemism to call the mass distribution of fentanyl ‘drug trafficking,’” he stressed. “Fentanyl is a deadly poison. The tiniest amount is lethal.”
