CV NEWS FEED // A Louisiana school board is suing the Biden administration for its attempt to change Title IX and threaten the safety of young girls in Louisiana schools.
The Rapides Parish School Board, a board which represents 20,000 children in the center of Louisiana, hired Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) attorneys to file on their behalf, in the case titled: Rapides Parish School Board v. United States Department of Education.
Instead of protecting young girls, the Title IX changes will redefine “sex” to include the “gender identity” which would allow each individual to define their sex as “an individual’s sense of their gender.”
Consequently, biological boys could then enter girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms, and participate in girls’ sports and physical education classes.
“The Biden administration’s radical redefinition of sex turns back the clock on equal opportunity for women, undermines fairness, and threatens every student’s safety and privacy,” ADF Senior Counsel Natalie Thompson stated.
“The administration continues to ignore biological reality, science, and common sense,” she added:
The Rapides Parish School Board, and other schools and teachers across the country, are right to stand against the enforcement of this extreme gender ideology, which will have devastating consequences for students, teachers, administrators, and families.
The school board is joining many other states, women’s and parent’s groups in calling out the Biden administration for their harmful policies, attempting to protect the women of America.
