CV NEWS FEED // The Los Angeles Catholic Prayer Breakfast is officially set to take place on September 17 with Fr Mike Schmitz appearing as keynote speaker.
According to a recent press release, the 19th annual celebration will begin with a rosary at 6:30 am, followed by Mass at 7:00 am celebrated by Archbishop José H. Gomez at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels.
The breakfast itself will take place after Mass outdoors on the Cathedral Plaza at 8:00 am.
Fr Mike Schmitz will deliver his address during the breakfast, focusing his message on “being a Catholic in today’s world,” according to the event’s website.
The current Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Diocese of Duluth, Fr Mike is most famous for his Bible in a Year Podcast and collaboration with the Hallow app.
As CatholicVote previously reported in July, Fr Mike’s recent animated video, “The Bible in Ten Minutes” reached over 600,000 views in just two days following its release.
