CV NEWS FEED // The American Principles Project (APP) revealed in a report for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that the Biden administration spent $174 million on grants funding and promoting gender ideology.
According to the organization, the administration funded a total of 341 grants, making up $128.2 million. APP also found 63 federal contracts, amounting to $46.1 million promoting gender ideology.
The Department of Health and Human Services received 60 of the grants, totaling $83.7 million.
Terry Schilling, the president of APP, noted in a video on his X account that many of the grants promoted LGBT agendas in parts of the world that still embrace traditional understandings of sexuality, such as Eastern European and South American countries.
Some of the most notable grants include nearly $4 million to “promote the safety, agency, well-being and the livelihoods of LGBTQI+ in Uganda,” almost $2 million to “shield the LGBTQI+ population in the Western Balkans,” and $1.5 million to “promote economic empowerment of and opportunity for LGBTQI+ people in Serbia.”
