His name is Dylan Cuddy. He’s a young Catholic. And he’s running across the entire United States of America in the name of Divine Mercy.
Dylan started in Jacksonville, Florida in February and plans to finish in Los Angeles in late summer. Along the way he’s trying pass through as many Holy Doors of Mercy as he can.
You can follow along with Dylan’s journey on his blog, where he keeps a daily journal (including lots of photos). Every day is a different story, a different adventure. I got totally immersed in it, and had to tear myself away just to write this post.
One of the most fascinating and inspiring things about what Dylan is doing (from what I’ve read of his journal so far) is that he’s making an intentional effort to give as much of himself and show as much mercy to those he meets as they show him. What happens is that the more he gives, the more he receives, and then gives again.
And that, as Bishop Barron would say, is exactly how spiritual physics works.
Check out Dylan’s website, and start following his journey. I know I’m going to.
