
It’s already been done with Legos, but now someone has built a miniature St. Peter’s Square out of toothpicks. 36,000 of them. That’s a lot of toothpicks. Laid end-to-end that’s almost two miles of toothpicks.
The replica was built by a guy from Colombia named Alberto Antonio Cruz Serna, and it took him 17 months to complete it. He hopes to show it to Pope Francis when he visits Colombia later this year.
