A movie detailing the conversion, activism, imprisonment, and pardon of Christian pro-life activist Bevelyn Williams will be released in theaters this July, Live Action News recently reported.
Williams was accused in 2021 of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act by the Biden administration’s Department of Justice and sentenced to three years in prison, spending three months in jail, away from her toddler and husband, before President Donald Trump pardoned her on Jan. 23, 2025.
After Williams was released, movie producer Tony D. White of DeJaView Films approached her about creating a film about her life so she could share her story, Live Action reported.
“The movie is going to highlight my abortion at 15 … and then work its way to the trial and how it was rigged, and pretty much expose that,” Williams said.
She explained that she hopes the movie helps bridge gaps between the pro-life, black, and Christian communities.
“This is gonna be a great opportunity to close some gaps. Culturally speaking, I feel like the black community has not been as privy as it should be to abortion, because unfortunately, we take up a big chunk of the clientele for abortion,” Williams said. “So I’m loving the fact that the actors are not your conventional actors but they’re gonna open up a great opportunity for people from all communities whether its the Christian community, whether its the black community to come and listen to this story.”
Christian actress and mother of three Angela R. White, known as Blac Chyna, stars as Williams.
Williams’ husband Rickey wrote about the movie on his X account.
“This isn’t just her story — it’s a warning,” he wrote. “Because if they can twist the law to crush her voice … They can twist it to crush yours.”
