CV NEWS FEED // A special presentation of nine relics of Christ’s Passion will take place during Lent at a Connecticut parish this year.
An exclusive opportunity to pray in the presence of the relics will take place at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Woodbridge on Friday, March 8 at 7:00 pm.
The program includes “a meditative walk to Calvary” and 90 minutes of Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, music, and a special veneration of the relics according to a Christian NewsWire release.
Included among the relics are a piece of the True Cross, a piece of the Holy Table from the room where the Last Supper took place, and a piece of the Crown of Thorns.
The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, who collaborated with the Apostolate for Holy Relics to bring the rare experience stateside.
