Today marks the 100th day of Donald J. Trump’s second term as President.
And he’s been making the most of those days, which included signing 137 executive orders.
Here are some of my favorite highlights so far:
Illegal Immigration
United States Border Patrol reports a 95% decrease in illegal alien crossings at the U.S. southern border in March 2025 compared to March 2024. This was his top campaign pledge and he delivered in record time.
Government Waste and Fraud
The newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has so far resulted in an estimated $160 billion in savings to date. Americans are sick of insider games and having millions wasted on ridiculous things like transgender comic books.
Gender Ideology
United States policy once again recognizes only two sexes, male and female, based solely on an “individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female.” President Trump also signed an order titled, Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports. This is a huge win for women and girls of all ages.
Anti-Christian Bias
President Trump issued an order to “end the anti-Christian weaponization of government,” such as the multi-year prison sentences given to the 23 peaceful Christian protestors who Biden prosecuted for violating the FACE Act.
Ending DEI in the Federal Government
President Trump dropped the hammer on racist DEI policies. In three executive orders, Trump revoked the slew of race- and sex-based preferences that were introduced by President Biden. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth followed this up by ending all woke policies in the military, including ending transgender surgeries.
This is an impressive start, but federal judges have thwarted many of these common-sense policies. It’s incumbent on the Supreme Court and Congress to ensure that the President’s policies are not undone.
There’s also an important non-political aspect of these first 100 days that deserves some attention. Let’s not forget how President and First Lady Melania Trump treated the arrival of Easter:
“This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.”
Contrast that to last year, when President Biden proclaimed “Transgender Day of Visibility” on Easter Sunday.
But the corporate media is working overtime to convince Americans that many Trump supporters are now second-guessing their vote.
And yet, I keep hearing from Catholics who are happy to have President Trump in office.
What do you think?
