According to reports, Pope Francis was the decisive factor in helping the Society of St. Pius X buy a beautiful neo-Gothic church in Rome.
The church is Santa Maria Immacolata all’Esquilino, and like almost all Roman churches, it is absolutely beautiful (interior shown above).
I hope that the rumors of reconciliation are true, whether by way of a personal prelature or some other means. People coming all the way back into full and regular union with the Church is a good thing.
