CV NEWS FEED // The Holy See Press Office announced that Pope Francis’ health is steadily improving and that there will be an April 5 update regarding his Sunday Angelus address.
“On Sunday, the Angelus may take place in a different manner compared to previous Sundays,” the press office shared in an April 4 briefing, according to a report from Vatican News.
During his illness, the Vatican has been publishing the Pope’s written remarks because he was unable to deliver them in person, as CatholicVote previously reported.
The press office also said Pope Francis has shown slight improvements in his breathing, mobility, and voice use. He also requires less supplemental oxygen. He continues some work and remains in good spirits.
On April 4, Pope Francis followed along with papal preacher Father Roberto Pasolini’s Lenten meditation via video, and on April 2, he participated remotely in the Mass marking the 20th anniversary of Pope Saint John Paul II’s death.
