CV NEWS FEED // Lay evangelist Michael Gormley will give a talk at a Pennsylvania parish about rediscovering biblical masculinity.
According to CatholicPhilly, the Jan. 21 event, which will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., is hosted by St. Norbert Parish’s That Man is You (TMIY) group.
TMIY is a program of the international ministry Paradisus Dei, which supports families through various programs for men, women, couples, and families.
CatholicPhilly reports that Gormley “will explore cutting through the lies and distortions of how masculinity is defined in our world today. He will show how to recover the biblical vision of authentic masculinity.”
Gormley is a mission evangelist for Paradisus Dei and the founder of LayEvangelist.com. He hosts two podcasts: “Catching Foxes” and “Every Knee Shall Bow.”
According to its website, TMIY is a year-long program featuring talks focusing on embracing scriptural masculinity. The program “provides rich Catholic content that leads to thoughtful and life-giving conversations, bringing about deep transformation.”
“What began with a foundational message on leadership, and the scriptural vision of man,” the website continues, “has grown to include 30+ world-class presenters from a variety of backgrounds who clearly and dynamically present the truths of the faith in a way that moves hearts and renews minds.”
