The extreme pro-abortion lobby has placed a proposed constitutional amendment to legalize abortion through all nine months on the November 2023 ballot in Ohio. The amendment is known as Issue 1 (not to be confused with Issue 1 which was voted on in August).
This amendment, which is backed by Planned Parenthood and other radical abortion groups, would remove all restrictions on abortion in Ohio and make our laws as bad as California’s. It would also pave the way for transgender surgeries, hormones, and puberty blockers for children without parental consent. The amendment needs a simple majority of 50% + 1 to pass.
As the Ohio Catholic Conference has made clear, all Ohio Catholics must vote NO on Issue 1 on November 7th to stop unlimited abortion in Ohio!

CatholicVote Ohio LLC is an Ohio nonprofit limited liability company that is exempt from federal taxation under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. CatholicVote Ohio is registered with the Ohio Secretary of State as a ballot issue political action committee. It may receive unlimited contributions from any source, including individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, trade associations, political organizations, and other legal entities, but does not accept contributions from foreign nationals, including individuals who are not citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States as well as entities that are organized under the laws of a foreign country or whose principal place of business is in a foreign country. CatholicVote Ohio is legally required to publicly disclose detailed information on all contributions, including the contributor’s name and street address (as well as employer and occupation if aggregating $100 or more). Contributions by one person in the name of another are prohibited. The IRS does not allow contributions to CatholicVote Ohio to be deducted as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
