Apple insulted Catholics.
Now, they’re ignoring us.
It’s been more than a week since CEO Tim Cook and other executives received my letter about the Apple TV+ show that featured a scene desecrating the Eucharist by using it as a cracker and dipping it in jam.
Apple hasn’t said, printed, or posted a single word about it.
Even with more than 350,000 messages of protest sent to them.
While that’s upsetting, it doesn’t mean we aren’t having an effect. We are.
Since we first publicized this outrage, major outlets have covered the story including Fox News, Daily Signal, and the Federalist. Large audiences in the Catholic world have learned about it too, from EWTN, popular podcasts, and others.
Apple doesn’t seem to think the Catholic community deserves a response.
Let’s show them they’re wrong by getting every Catholic in America to say we won’t be silent when you mock Our Lord.
If you haven’t contacted them yet, do it now.
And let’s keep spreading the word by forwarding this email to family, friends, fellow parishioners, and even your pastor.
You can also help keep our social media momentum going by sharing the Apple contact link on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
This is an issue that every Catholic can get behind. This isn’t about some petty political fight.
It’s about whether or not we stand by and let people take pot shots at our faith.
