CV NEWS FEED // The National Eucharistic Revival has announced an exciting new opportunity for up-and-coming sacred artists.
Hosted in partnership with St. Edmund’s Sacred Art Institute, the Eucharistic Revival is calling on sacred artists to submit work to its National Eucharistic Art Competition.
“Creative Catholics from all over the country are invited to share their talents in exploration and celebration of the Eucharistic mystery, contributing to a vibrant tapestry of Echaristic art,” the Eucharistic Revival said in its announcement:
Selected works will be showcased at the 10th National Eucharistic Congress, exhibited in a premier show at the Museum of Blessed Michael McGivney Center in Connecticut, and displayed at other locations as a part of the Echaristic Sacred Art Exhibit.
Eligible works must be “executed in a manner worthy of the House of the Lord, depicting sound doctrine, inspired by Eucharistic elements of Biblical or private revelation of the Saints, Blesseds, or Servants of God.”
Photography or computer-generated work will not be accepted.
The deadline to submit to the competition is February 20, 2024. Artists will be notified of their status by February 30,2024.
