CV NEWS FEED // Event organizers for “the largest gathering of single Catholics,” have announced the location of this year’s highly anticipated conference.
The 23rd National Conference for Single Catholics (NCSC), which is traditionally hosted in a new location each year, will take place in Las Vegas, NV on August 16-18.
According to the NCSC website, the event will include a series of speakers, in-depth discussions, prayer, and of course, many social opportunities to meet other like-minded singles.
The popular conference has overwhelmingly positive reviews on its testimonial page, with one participant referring to the event as “the Superbowl for single Catholics.”
“After my first conference last year,” wrote John, another past participant, “I realized that this was THE event where Single Catholics are ministered to.”
He continued:
I felt both inspired and challenged at this year’s conference, just as I felt at last year’s conference. It is refreshing to have an event like this in a world in which single Catholics too often feel like the forgotten part of the congregation in their local parishes…. I’m looking forward to attending the next conference.
Among this year’s speakers is J. Eustace Wolfington, executive producer of the recently released film, “Cabrini,” and Matt Ingold, co-host of the Catholic Coaching Podcasts and co-founder of Metanoia Catholic.
“It has been a great joy to meet so many new friends at the NCSC throughout the years and to work with so many fantastic volunteers in various states,” NCSC Founder and Director Anastasia Northrop states on the conference website. “It’s always inspiring to hear about new connections made – including several marriages!”
This year, Northrop hopes participants will come away from the conference with renewed courage in their faith and ability to walk with Christ during their respective seasons in life.
