CV NEWS FEED // Moms for America launched its highly anticipated new talk show, The Mom View on Aug. 5.
The show’s co-host and founder of Moms for America Kimberly Fletcher described it as not merely another talk show, but a movement.
Moms for America (MFA) is a national non-profit organization that was founded in 2004 to provide a voice for mothers on political and social issues. It aims to promote values of family and liberty through the women of the U.S.
Fletcher shared that The Mom View will focus on important issues for moms and their families. The new show will provide an environment for meaningful conversations on topics “from parenting to public policy, because all issues are mom issues,” Fletcher stated.
Mayra Rodriguez, former Planned Parenthood clinic manager who became a whistleblower and pro-life advocate, will co-host the new talk show along with Fletcher.
Rodriguez told CatholicVote that The Mom View will feature their “values as conservative faith women” and tackle often-overlooked topics impacting society, communities, households, and children. For example, it will review issues such as homeschooling, parenting, voting, human trafficking, drug use, and technology, while also offering resources to viewers.
The Mom View will have three other co-hosts besides Fletcher and Rodriguez: Debbie Kraulidis, vice president of MFA, Aly Legge, MFA’s director of civic engagement, and singer-songwriter Hadas Levy.
Rodriguez told CatholicVote that each of the five co-hosts will offer their perspectives and ask questions of the featured guests. These guests will include regular moms who will have the opportunity to share their experiences on the show.
Rodriguez worked for Planned Parenthood for 17 years before blowing the whistle on repeated criminal behavior within the organization, including falsifying records to cover up botched abortions. She was fired and consequently sued for wrongful termination. She won a $3 million suit against the abortion giant in 2019.
Rodriguez shared that the show plans to interview other whistleblowers to encourage people to speak out against wrongdoing and uncover corruption in organizations.
“I hope that my former employer realizes that my lawsuit was just the beginning of my story,” Rodriguez concluded.
