CV NEWS FEED // The Minnesota Catholic Conference has congratulated Gov. Tim Walz on his selection as the Democratic Party Vice Presidential nominee, even though they have “strong disagreements” with his policies.
In an X post, the Conference said that they “assure him of our prayers” and “are proud to have worked together” to enact a child tax credit and protect immigrants in Minnesota.
They expressed “strong disagreement” of Walz’s pro-choice and pro-transgenderism policies, as well as his policies against parental rights in education. However, they noted that they “appreciated his willingness to hear our concerns and change course” on religious liberty issues.
