Following the release of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails, several email threads between various members of Clinton’s staff and allies exposed an anti-Catholic culture within the Clinton campaign. When the news leaked, CatholicVote.org called for the resignation of Clinton campaign spokeswoman, Jennifer Palmieri, who joined in mocking two prominent media members for raising their kids Catholic. She called Catholicism “the most socially acceptable politically conservative religion. Their rich friends wouldn’t understand if they became evangelical.”
