LOOP: Trump in Poland: ‘The West will never, ever be broken’

POLAND // President Trump gave, by all measures, an outstanding speech in Poland. His speech made note of the Poles who fought for American independence, and he also made a reference to Pope John Paul’s historic visit back to Poland in 1979. Trump praised Poland for its commitment to fighting terrorism and upholding the values of Western Civilization. Trump said: “Just as Poland could not be broken, I declare today for the world to hear that the West will never, ever be broken. Our values will prevail. Our people will thrive. And our civilization will triumph.” http://cvote.it/2sTfqZq

CORRUPTION // Senator Bob Menedez is two months away from a 22-count felony trial. Menedez is accused of taking gifts from a man found guilty in federal court in April of pocketing more than $90 million in Medicare payments. And yet, this is not making national news at all. Maybe because Menedez is a Democrat? http://cvote.it/2sSY26W

  1. Once again, your hatred for gay people shoves the Catechism right out of the way. While the Catechism tells us that LGBT persons do not choose their condition and should be treated with compassion, you publish an article stating it’s wrong to tell children who are gay that it’s ok they are who they are. If it’s not a choice, do you believe that some human beings are intrinsically not acceptable? How does this fit the teachings of the Church?
On the note of compassion, why do you believe that children who are LGBT should be forced to come out to their parents? Is that not the choice of the individual? Why have you decided for them?
How do you square your belief with the fact that 40% of homeless youth are LGBT, and the primary cause of their homelessness is family rejection and abuse? Is it compassionate to subject children to this?
