LOOP: Mueller Report unlikely to settle issue for Democrats

MUELLER REPORT Attorney General Bill Barr released the Mueller Report, with some redactions required by law. But the report is unlikely to ease tensions between Democrats and Republicans about what the findings mean for the Trump administration. House Democrats are likely to use subpoena powers to obtain the full report and to bring Barr and Mueller to testify.  READ
BORN-ALIVE BILL  A bill to protect babies who survive abortion has been vetoed by Gov. Roy Cooper, a North Carolina Democrat.  READ 
IMMIGRATION AND HOUSING The Trump administration proposes throwing illegal immigrants out of public housing. “We need to make certain our scarce public resources help those who are legally entitled to it,” said Ben Carson, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.  READ 
MEDIA IGNORANCE  A New York Times reporter thought “body of Christ” referred to a statue of Jesus, instead of the Blessed Sacrament.  READ 
ARREST AT ST. PATRICK A man was arrested entering St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City with gasoline. A spokesman for the Archdiocese of New York said “the individual was stopped as he tried to come into the cathedral.” The man had four gallons of gasoline, two cans of lighter fluid, and two lighters with him as he entered the cathedral.  READ

SAINT OF THE DAY  Saint Gianna Beretta Molla was a wife, mother, and pediatrician. During her last pregnancy Saint Gianna was found to have a noncancerous uterine fibroid. While she allowed the doctors to remove the tumor, she made sure that her pregnancy was protected. Saint Gianna Molla died of complications shortly after her daughter’s birth. READ
