FLOWER POWER The Supreme Court sent a legal case involving a florist who refused to provide flower arrangements to a same-sex couple back to the highest court in Washington State. The highest court’s action is a partial victory. If the florist can prove that state officials targeted her with animus, then she have her case overturned. She is facing considerable fines from state officials who have declared her actions discriminatory. READ |

MAXINE WATERS CALLED ON TO RESIGN Republican lawmakers rebuked Rep. Maxine Waters, D-CA, for her public call for harassing public supporters of the Trump administration. Rep. Andy Biggs, R-AZ, introduced a resolution to censure Waters for inciting people to publicly confront Trump administration officials. READ |

NEW FORM OF DISCOURSE A decapitated and burned animal corpse was placed on the front porch of a Department of Homeland Security official’s Washington DC home. The incident spurred a Department to send a letter Saturday to all employees alarming of them of the “heightened threat” against employees of the agency. READ |

IMMIGRATION BILL UP FOR DEBATE Last week, an immigration bill failed to advance in the House. GOP lawmakers may decide to vote later today on a moderate immigration bill, which would still provide $25 billion for a border wall, end family separations at the border, and provide legal status for DACA children. YOU CALL THIS A PROTEST? Firebrand liberal Catholic priest, Fr. Michael Pfleger, plans to shut down a portion of a major freeway in the Chicago just days after the Fourth of July holiday. He claims that he’ll be joined by one thousand other so-called ‘protesters’ in their effort to shut down the Dan Ryan Expressway. They’ll prevent workers from getting home in order to declare their stated opposition to violence that has claimed many Chicago lives.
