KAVANAUGH HEARINGS  Sen. Cory Booker, D-NJ, said he was willing to be expelled from the Senate in order to ‘disclose’ so-called ‘secret’ documents — that Senate Republicans approved to be made public anyway. READ
SENATE 2018  President Trump campaigned in Montana on behalf of Senate candidate Matt Rosendale, a pro-life Catholic. “This election is a choice between Democrats who want to abolish ICE and Republicans who want to abolish MS-13,” said President Trump.  READ
NJ / NY LAUNCH INVESTIGATIONS  New York’s attorney general issued subpoenas to all eight Catholic dioceses in the state and launched a civil investigation to determine how allegations of sexual abuse of minors were handled. READ
BUFFALO BISHOP WON’T RESIGN  Bishop Richard Malone has rejected calls from local Catholic and public officials to step down after recently published confidential documents suggest that he mishandled allegations of sexual abuse. READ
DIGITAL BLACKLISTING  Another poll shows that conservatives overwhelmingly think social media and tech companies are censoring them. The Axios poll showed that 67% of Republicans say Google Search is biased. READ
VANDALISM   A GOP office in Laramie, Wyoming, was set on fire just days after it opened. This isn’t the only act of violence in recent months. Vandals threw a brick through the window of a local GOP office in Nebraska in July. They left behind a spray-painted message: “ABOLISH ICE.”  READ
NAMES REMOVED  Catholic schools throughout Pennsylvania are removing the names of bishops and priests from buildings in the wake of a grand jury report detailing abuse in six dioceses in the state. READ
LEGATUS WITHHOLDS FUNDS  A national organization of Catholic businessmen and women has decided to withhold its annual $1 million tithe to the Vatican, and place the money in an escrow account.  READ
