PEOPLE VOTE ON ABORTION The voters in West Virginia adopted an amendment that says: “Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of abortion.” Voters in Alabama approved similar language for their constitution: “The constitution of this state does not protect the right to abortion or require the funding of abortion.” READ |
NEW DEMOCRAT HOUSE MAJORITY Democrats didn’t waste any time in talking up their new roles as checks on President Trump. “I think we have an oversight responsibility that obviously hasn’t been pursued by the Republican majority in the House of Representatives, and we’re going to do that.
