CV NEWS FEED // Live Action this week announced that it will lead a peaceful protest outside of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in response to the party’s radically pro-abortion platform and the free abortions offered to convention attendees.
This week Planned Parenthood had a “mobile clinic” offering free abortions and vasectomies near the DNC, according to the National Review.
In a news release, Live Action President Lila Rose lamented that reportedly at least 25 unborn children have lost their lives to abortion from the Planned Parenthood van outside the DNC.
“The presence of Planned Parenthood’s abortion and vasectomy bus so close to the convention is a clear message that the most brutal elements of the abortion industry are emboldened and unchecked,” Rose stated.
“Murdering children as a brazen political spectacle is revolting to most Americans,” she continued. “Most Americans desire strong families, meaningful lives, and the opportunity to thrive—not the cold, heartless killing that Planned Parenthood is promoting.”
According to the news release, activists with Live Action have been peacefully protesting on behalf of the unborn outside of the DNC since August 22.
“Pro-life activists will make their message heard in Chicago that all people, especially our youngest children, deserve to live and are legally guaranteed equal protection under the law,” Rose concluded.
