CV News Feed // According to Human Life International, the United States has become one of the leading exporters of the abortion industry and intends to showcase its findings during the National March for Life Expo.
During the National March for Life, taking place in Washington, D.C. this week, there will be an exposition of various pro-life organizations presenting about their work in the pro-life movement. Human Life International announced that they would be presenting on how abortion not just impacts women across the United States but has a global footprint.
“Pro-life Americans are very aware of abortion’s horrific impact on our country,” explained Human Life International Chief Advancement Officer John Martin. “But I wonder how many are cognizant of the devastating toll that abortion is wreaking around the world.”
Human Life International is one of the largest international pro-life advocacy groups in the world. They seek to advocate for the pro-life cause both in the United States and abroad.
According to Dr. Brian Clowes, Director of Education and Research at Human Life International, the United States is one of the biggest funders of abortion in the entire world. He said that through taxpayer funding, international aid packages, and public grants, the United States has become one of the largest abortion funders in the world.
“There are streams of money going towards population control from more than fifty nations, as well as non-governmental organizations that act as middlemen. If, for example, Doctors Without Borders does a batch of illegal abortions in Nigeria one week, there is no way of knowing exactly how many abortions can be counted as funded by the United States,” said Clowes.
Human Life International is actively serving 160 countries. In 2023, representatives advocated for pro-life policies at a variety of international events, including at the Organization of American States in Washington, DC, and the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States.
