Heritage Organization
The Heritage Organization has compiled a training program for school board hopefuls. Training from the organization features 14 videos full of tools, information, and resources for those who wish to run for school board as well as newly elected school board members.
“Experienced school board leaders and education policy experts from across the country have teamed up to share the knowledge and information you need for immediate effectiveness,” the program states. “Designed for busy board members and parents, this training is available on demand so that you can learn at your convenience and at your own pace.”
Moms For Liberty
Moms For Liberty offers a training program and FREE campaign kit for parents and community members who desire to serve on their local school boards.
“Chapters of Moms for Liberty issue endorsements in school board and elected superintendent races that fall within their geographic boundaries. In 2022, Moms for Liberty chapters endorsed over 500 candidates to empower their communities to know which candidates stand on the side of parental rights.”
Liberty-minded individuals can benefit from Moms For Liberty endorsements and the training kit by being trained to “understand campaign cycles, perfect voter communication, and avoid the common pitfalls that tend to trip up new candidates.”
Moms For America
Moms For America offers comprehensive training courses on campaigning and communications for school board hopefuls from the Leadership Institute and Family Research Council.
The MFA training helps parents learn “how to communicate effectively with voters, how to raise funds, and how to build your volunteer team.”
MFA also offers endorsements and local chapters for community support as well as a variety of resources and training topics for candidates.
The Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute is designed to help new candidates run successful campaigns and ultimately change their local communities by fostering conservative values in the nation’s school boards.
“LI’s School Board Campaign Training features presentations from seasoned conservatives who have served on school boards, plus campaign professionals experienced in local campaigns.”
The Leadership Institute states that candidates will “learn how to design, wage, and raise funds for a successful school board campaign. In addition, you’ll receive briefings and background information you’ll need to be well informed and articulate your own experiences and issue positions to voters in your community.”
1776 Project
The 1776 Project is a Political Action Committee (PAC) oriented towards taking back America one school board at a time.
“We support reform-minded conservatives who oppose political indoctrination and believe in parental rights, safe and secure schools, fiscal transparency, improving educational standards, promoting transparency, and reversing pandemic-related learning loss.”
Candidates can apply for endorsements and resources from the 1776 Project.
