CV NEWS FEED // Conservative American filmmaker and videographer Robby Starbuck this week wrote a series of posts on X revealing that the iconic motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson had “gone totally woke.”
“It’s time to expose Harley-Davidson,” began Starbuck. “Harley Davidson has been one of the most beloved brands in America but recently on CEO Jochen Zeitz’s watch, they’ve gone totally woke.”
Starbuck also shared a nine-minute video exposing the controversial policies, training, and actions recently enacted by Harley-Davidson.
“The brand is so out of alignment with their customers,” he wrote.
Starbuck provided evidence showing Harley-Davidson’s support of the “Equality Act,” which “would allow men into girl’s bathrooms, sports and locker-rooms.” The company also requires employees to take training courses on becoming “LGBTQ allies,” he reported.
The outspoken conservative listed the following as woke policies and actions by Harley-Davidson:
• Openly supports “the Equality Act” which would allow men into girl’s bathrooms, sports, and locker-rooms.
• HD funded an all-ages pride event that featured a “rage room” next to drag queen storytime.
• 1,800 employees had to do virtual training on how to become LGBTQ+ allies.
• Founding Member of Wisconsin’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce — This chamber opposed a law that would’ve banned sex changes for kids in Wisconsin on behalf of the businesses they represent, including HD.
• Sponsored LGBTQ+ Entrepreneur Bootcamp.
• The woke CEO Jochen Zeitz signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Pledge.
• Made February and March “Months of Inclusion” because apparently Pride Month isn’t enough.
• Multiple woke United Way trainings.
• Donated millions to United Way who made the “United For Equity” program where they promote Ibram Kendi, the woke children’s book “Anti-Racist Baby”, “Awake to Woke to Work”, a podcast on the concept of “Whiteness”, woke activist Robin DiAngelo, bigotry against Christians who supposedly have “Christian Privilege” and more.
• Sent some White Male employees to a White Male ONLY woke diversity training program.
• HD is openly working to have less White suppliers, dealers, and employees.
• HD partners with the yearly “Pride Ride”.
• HD supports the Pennsylvania Youth Congress who helped create Gender Neutral licenses in Pittsburgh.
• Partnered with the far-left HRC group to support LGBTQ+ causes.
• Hosted LGBTQ+ events at the corporate office.
• HD celebrated their legal dept taking a woke 21-day racial equity and literacy challenge which included speeches like “Black Panthers, White Lies”, a BLM speech, and Ta-Nehisi Coates “Case for Reparations”.
• LGBTQ+ & race-based identity ERG groups at HD.
• A total commitment to DEI policies.
• 90/100 CEI score from the HRC.
The thorough list provided by Starbuck was corroborated by information and screenshots presented in the video, including a display of Harley-Davidson proudly stating that they were “All In” on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
“Are you getting Harley-Davidson vibes yet?” gibed Starbuck.
In the video, climate activist and Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz is seen stating: “By 2030 we shall be completing a total transformation of the company.”
The company has notably sponsored pro-LGBTQ events and organizations such as the Rainbow Rose Center, which hosts pride events. These events featured areas such as a “rage room” to “let off steam” and a children’s area for story-time with drag queens.
The organization is listed as a sponsor for the “Queer and Trans People of Color” (QTPOC) support group.
“Harley-Davidson seems to have forgotten who their core customers are,” wrote Starbuck:
I don’t think the values at the corporate reflect the values of nearly any Harley-Davidson bikers. Do Harley riders want the money they spend at Harley to be used later by corporate to push an ideology that is diametrically opposed to their own values?
Starbuck continued:
The customer is king and most of us just want the companies we shop at to stop virtue signaling about divisive social, cultural, and political issues. That’s what would truly make businesses welcome to all. Stop dividing us by injecting wokeness.
Billionaire X owner and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk took notice of the post, asking “Harley-Davidson?” To which Starbuck replied: “They literally sent some white male employees to a white male only training on diversity.”
After the bombshell revelations about the brand, Starbuck followed up with a secondary post showing a Harley-Davidson-Budweiser collaboration. The limited-edition beer can followed in the footsteps of Bud Light’s collaboration with “transgender” influencer Dylan Mulvaney and Busch Light’s collaboration with John Deere.
“You seriously can’t make this stuff up. Incredible,” Starbuck commented.
Harley-Davidson fans flooded the comments on Starbuck’s posts, expressing their love for the brand and hope for its turn-around.
Various users commented on the epidemic of beloved American brands “going woke.”
“Why are all the companies that were most admired for their products going woke all of the sudden?” asked one user.
Others were less than pleased with the decisions of the company and indicated they would no longer support the brand.
User Tammie McDonald posted a photo of her beloved bikes, adding: “I guess we’re gonna have to sell our Harley’s.. what the heck is wrong with these companies.”
Starbuck ended the post by asking for followers to spread the news. “If you agree then share this video and tag your favorite accounts so they see this news. Be sure to send it to the bikers you know,” wrote Starbuck. “I have a feeling that biker clubs are NOT going to be okay with this. It’s time for them to take a stand too.”
Harley-Davidson has yet to comment on the allegations.
