CV NEWS FEED // A large fire caused “extensive damage” at a building that was reportedly formerly a historic Catholic church in Quebec, Canada, this week, according to a report from the Western Standard.
The fire occurred on October 3 at the Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allégresses, a building formerly a church that is more than a century old, according to the Standard.
Firefighters responded to the scene, and the Standard reported that the fire left the building with “significant structural damage.” Authorities have not issued any notice on what caused the fire.
It has not been reported whether anyone was in the building at the time of the fire, or if anyone was injured.
