The former FBI Director will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee today at 10 am ET, and again for a closed session at 1 pm.
CNN reported last week the former FBI director was going to say Trump pressured him to end the FBI’s investigation into ties between Trump campaign associates and Russian officials.
But, ABC News reported Tuesday that Comey was going to stop short of saying the president interfered in the bureau’s investigation of former national security adviser Mike Flynn.
After the president fired Comey, the Department of Justice appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as special counsel and oversee the investigation into Russian meddling in the election.
