
CV NEWS FEED // Extended versions of Peter Jackson’s beloved “Lord of the Rings” movie trilogy are making a comeback to theaters this month.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters will screen both the extended and remastered versions across three days via Fathom Events.

Warner Bros is expected to release an anime film on December 13, “The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim,” which is set over 250 years prior to the trilogy and tells the story of Helm Hammerhand, King of Rohan.
The Prime Video series, “The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” is also reportedly expected to release a second season in the fall or winter, though no official release date has been announced.
As CatholicVote previously reported, Warner Bros recently announced that Jackson would produce a new “Lord of the Rings” movie, titled “The Hunt for Gollum.” The film will be directed by the titular character’s voice actor, Andy Serkis.
