CV News Feed //This week, thousands of pro-life advocates will travel to Washington, D.C.,, to participate in the annual March For Life. Those who cannot make the trek, however, will have other options to participate.
The Eternal Word Television Network, or EWTN, announced that they will be livestreaming the entire March, speakers, and other events associated with the March.
EWTN said that they would be carrying the National Prayer Vigil for Life, which takes place the day prior to March on Thursday, January 18, beginning at 5 p.m.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is sponsoring the National Prayer Vigil. The vigil will begin with Mass at 5 p.m., celebrated in the National Basilica in Washington, D.C.
Immediately following the Mass, there will be a National Holy Hour for Life that includes a Eucharistic procession, adoration, the recitation of the rosary, and benediction.
Throughout the night, bishops will lead various holy hours and reflections. To follow along through the night, visit the USCCB website. The vigil will conclude with a Mass celebrated by Bishop Earl Fernandes of the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio, at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 19.
Following the vigil, EWTN will provide coverage of the March and the speakers presenting at the rally. Speakers include Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Jim Daly, President and CEO of Focus on the Family, and Aisha Taylor, author of Navigating the “Impossible”: A Survival Guide for Single Moms From Pregnancy.
