Michael McCaul, R-TX, and Adam Schiff, D-CA, both panned the Biden administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan during an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “I certainly don’t think the withdrawal had to go as it did, and the loss of American lives during the withdrawal, and the degree to which it took months and months, and we continue to try to help people escape from Afghanistan, I think could have been handled differently,” said Schiff, who is chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
