CV NEWS FEED // The Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph have announced the schedule for the second annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage.
According to the website, the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage “is a full-day event at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 28, 2024,” hosted both by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph and local charters of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary.
The Dominican Friars’ press release relates that there will be Mass, Adoration, confessions, recitation of the Rosary, conferences by Fr. James Sullivan, O.P., as well as book signings and an opportunity to enroll in the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary. After Mass, the Hillbilly Thomists will perform at the Catholic University of America Mall, which is located next to the Basilica.
The press release added, “We love and welcome families!” adding, “Throughout the day, families with children are also welcome to visit the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II, which has prepared a special atrium with activities for children and will livestream the pilgrimage events for parents.”
Conferences and prayer services in Spanish will also be provided.
The pilgrimage is free to attend, but the Dominicans do accept donations.
