The profane Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI) donate money to an LA hospital that subjects youth to puberty blockers and “transgender” surgeries, a reporter has found.

Megan Basham, a reporter for The Daily Wire, tweeted that “According to legacy media, the queer drag nuns are just ‘satirical’ charity group.” However, “Morning Wire looked into their charitable activities and found they raise $$ for the children’s trans center at LA hospital that provides minors puberty blockers/surgeries.”

The news comes as The Los Angeles Dodgers face national scrutiny for choosing to honor SPI with a “community heroes award” to be presented to the group on June 16.
Catholic leaders in LA and beyond have condemned the anti-Catholic hate group. As CatholicVote reported this week:
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles released a statement Tuesday denouncing SPI and encouraged Catholics to “stand against bigotry and hate in any form and to stand for respect for one another and for the religious beliefs of our communities of faith.”
SPI is a troupe of men who dress in lewd costumes mimicking the habits of nuns and performing acts of sacrilege against Catholic symbols and sacraments. But the responses that have begun to roll in from Catholic authorities represent an increasingly unified Catholic front against the Dodgers.
Basham reported that SPI donates to the Center for Trans Youth Health and Development at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. In a series of tweets, Basham exposed the practices that this center subjects children to, including “experimental treatment to girls as young as 13 to cut off their breasts to address their ‘chest dysphoria.’”

According to the Center’s website, these procedures are done “to examine the amount of chest dysphoria in transmasculine youth who had had chest reconstruction surgery compared with those who had not undergone this surgery.” The center surgically manipulates children’s bodies in experimental studies that change the entire trajectory of their lives.
Basham concluded writing, “So that’s who Dodgers are awarding—a blasphemous group that funds child mutilation.”
