CV NEWS FEED // The Washington D.C. Museum of the Bible is ramping up its Christmas festivities this year.
Featuring live music, unique exhibits, daily Christmas story readings, a Christmas market, and more, the Museum’s festival, titled: “Gloria: The Wonders of Noel” will continue from now through January 6, 2024.
Musical events will include symphonic Christmas hymns, a cappella performances, traditional carols, and “Sing! An Irish Christmas.”
There will also be many family-oriented activities, with workshops in medieval illustration, Christmas ornaments, and Nativity scene construction.
The winners of the 2023 Nativity Crib Competition from Christmas in Malta are among the Museum’s many seasonal exhibits.
Malta began hosting a national crib building competition in 2020, with guests at the Museum voting for the winner. This year, the exhibit is present once more, with scenes showcasing “traditional life on the islands of Malta and nearby Gozo, bringing the Nativity into their own culture.”
