Mercy McAuley High School recently launched its capital campaign. The campaign began with a bang when a longtime supporter of the school donated $1.1 million to the campaign, which is the largest gift in the school’s history.
“We are sincerely grateful for this incredible gift, which will have a significant impact on our students. We extend our sincerest appreciation to the donor and family, who for many years have supported our mission of educating young women in the Catholic faith and with the Mercy Charism. We are blessed and humbled by this generous gift, which will help us to continue our mission for generations to come,” Mercy McAuley President Brigitte Foley told WKRC News Station.
Mercy McAuley High School is an all-girls Catholic high school in Cincinnati. It was founded in 1915 by the Sisters of Mercy.
The school said that it would use the funds to fund campus development projects. The donor wished to stay anonymous.
