There’s a lot going on. But we’re not about to rest.
Today we made a big decision:
We’re proud to announce our endorsement of pro-life champion Kathy Barnette in the hotly contested Pennsylvania Republican primary for the U.S. Senate.
The Pennsylvania primary is one week from today. Most “experts” believe the race is between Trump-endorsed Mehmet Oz (“Dr. Oz”) and hedge fund CEO David McCormick.
But Kathy Barnette is now surging. And reliable polling this week shows Barnette is now within striking distance.
Why Barnette?
We don’t have to worry whether she’s genuinely pro-life. She speaks passionately about it every chance she gets. She was conceived in rape when her mother was just 11-years old. Her life itself is a testament to the value of every human life, and she has vowed to work towards providing proactive alternatives for parents who feel abortion is their only option.
Kathy Barnette is 100% pro-life.
Barnette drew national attention last week during a debate where she confronted Mehmet Oz over his inconsistent defense of life, calling him out for referring to the early life of an unborn child as nothing more than an “acorn with electrical currents.” She declared: “My life is valuable and so are the many lives that find themselves in the womb of their mother.”
Barnette is a veteran and also a homeschooling mother of two children. Her vocal stance on the importance of parental involvement in education sets her apart from the other candidates in this race. Barnette supports parents’ rights and school choice, saying: “I believe as parents we love our children more than Dr. Fauci, Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi.”
In today’s political climate, Washington DC desperately needs the leadership of strong pro-life women.
Can she win?
It’s an age-old question. Barnette isn’t famous. She isn’t personally wealthy. She can’t spend millions on TV ads like the others. But Pennsylvania Republicans are giving her a serious look anyway because she’s a spirited fighter willing to defend what matters most.
The presumptive Democratic nominee in this race is a socialist. Any of the Republican candidates will be better than him.
But now is the time for Catholics to unite behind Kathy Barnette – and help her win!
We’re planning to contact every likely Catholic Republican voter in PA in the coming days to urge them to support Barnette. If you live in Pennsylvania, please help spread the word.
Why Catholics? According to the national exit polls and the US Census, 24% of Pennsylvania’s voting population is Catholic (that’s 537,00 eligible Catholic voters) and it’s the 8th most Catholic state in the nation. The Catholic vote is the swing vote in this state — we both gave Donald Trump the victory in 2016 and lost him the victory in 2020. The Catholic vote will decide this election.
If you want to help us elect a strong pro-life woman to the U.S. Senate, now is the moment to act.
We’ve got 7 days to make a difference.
