
CV NEWS FEED // A television series developed by the University of Dallas and aired by EWTN network has been adapted for radio and will make its debut on Divine Mercy Radio on Sunday, January 14.
Inspired by narratives from Scripture, history, and literature, The Quest is a documentary-style series, written by screenwriter and English Department faculty member Shannon Valenzuela, PhD which explores the joyful nature of Christian life “in troubled times,” and the power of Catholicism to overcome personal and cultural challenges.
The series, which may be viewed on EWTN or on the University webpage, includes contributions from UD faculty from across disciplines such as theology, modern languages, and literature.
According to the University press release, The Quest will appear on Divine Mercy Radio for the next 20 weeks, with the first episode, “The Voice Within” airing on Sunday.
According to the release, “Divine Mercy Radio is a lay apostolate dedicated to sharing the truth, beauty, love and joy of the Catholic faith in North Carolina. Other Divine Mercy weekend programming includes Patrick Madrid and Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ, who formerly taught at the University of Dallas.”
