CV NEWS FEED // Innovest, Colorado Christian University, and The Catholic Benefits Association (CBA) are partnering with the Archdiocese of Denver and others to launch the first Christian Institutional Investors Conference this April, offering insight for Christian investors on how to align their institutional financial goals with their faith.
The Conference, which will be held at the Colorado Christian University, will begin April 2 with Mass in the chapel on the campus.
According to the CBA, the conference will cover issues such as proxy voting, the current economy, and investing.
The founding dean of the Busch School of Business at the Catholic University of America Andrew Abela will open the conference with a keynote speech on “why corporations need a moral heart; why this should be based on virtue, and not on alien concepts like ESG or DEI,” according to the Conference website.
Chief Business Officer Stan Sluder of Benedictine College will moderate a presentation titled “The Case for Offering a Christian Retirement Plan.”
CBA Vice President Jason Coon will speak about “leveraging the power of associations,” according to an emailed invitation. CBA’s Director of Member Services Mandy Cox will give a presentation on the CBA’s multiple employer 401(k) solution.
Innovest, AmPhil, Colorado Christian University, the Catholic Foundation, Christian Employers Alliance, and Invest with Purpose are co-hosting the conference with the Archdiocese and CBA.
