Everyone is asking me the same question:
“Can Trump still win?”
Let’s face it: the media thinks the race is over. From Russia to Ukraine to COVID to Black Lives Matter, the mainstream press has been working tirelessly to defeat the President for over 3 years. And this summer they are convinced they have delivered the knockout blow.
The organized lies, manipulation, and opposition are unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
But not so fast…
Here are some things they won’t tell you:
The economy is rebounding. Businesses are re-opening, and jobs are coming back at a record pace. And of course the stock market is surging. Investors believe the worst is behind us. The economy remains the #1 issue for voters — and the issue voters consistently rank Trump best equipped to manage.
While COVID cases are surging in some states, doomsday fears turned out to be wrong. Hospitalization and death rates continue to decline, while therapeutics and vaccine candidates are being fast-tracked. The Left is gunning to spread as much fear as possible, but voters are growing tired of the scaremongering.
Joe Biden is finally emerging from his basement. Without question, Joe Biden is the worst Democratic presidential candidate in recent memory. Even a large percentage of Democrats are unenthused and worry about his mental health. If his handlers finally allow him to hit the campaign trail, let alone debate, he is bound to stumble, perhaps decisively. His veep choice could also open a new front for President Trump to attack.
The Democratic Party has a problem. A big one. The fastest-growing and most energetic wing of their party openly hates America. And they aggressively attack anything traditional or religious. It seems the only thing they do like is anything that harms the President.
But voters are starting to wake up. The rampant mob violence is starting to backfire. And people are discovering that the BLM movement is really marxist at its core. This is the party of AOC and Antifa now, and it can only be contained for so long. Just imagine if they get power.
So here are some reminders for the coming months…
Ignore the polls. First of all, national polls are irrelevant. They are only used to demoralize you. The only polls that matter are those in the top 7 or 8 states that will likely decide the election. And in each of these states, the race remains highly competitive. Further, experts are now admitting that Trump voters — more than ever before — are unwilling to tell pollsters anything one way or the other.
Consider this…
In 1988, Vice President George H.W. Bush was down nearly 20 points in July to Michael Dukakis. But Bush was able to rally and win by over 8 points. He did so by convincing Americans that his opponent was weak on crime and out of step with patriotic values.
Sound familiar?
History doesn’t repeat itself, but it sometimes rhymes. And Joe Biden is following his party to the hard Left as rioters deface and topple statues of American heroes, spit on our history, and shame anyone proud of our country.
KEY: We can’t predict the outcome. But four months is an eternity in politics. We fully expect the race to be a tossup by Election Day.
