CV NEWS FEED // A first-class relic of Blessed Michael McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus, will embark on a five-day pilgrimage across Texas from September 3-7.
The tour, organized by the Knights of Columbus Texas State Council, will visit several churches with the bone fragment relic of Blessed McGivney.
Stops will include:
- Sept 3: Our Lady of Gulf Catholic Church, Port Lavaca
- Sept 4: Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Corpus Christi
- Sept 5: Basilica Our Lady of San Juan Del Valle, San Juan
- Sept 6: San Martin De Porres, Laredo
- Sept 7: St. Mark the Evangelist, San Antonio
During each stop, attendees will have the chance to venerate the relic, participate in Mass, and attend an initiation ceremony for new Knights of Columbus members. More information and Mass times can be found here.
According to the Knights of Columbus, this tour, the second of its kind in Texas, is part of the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and deepen devotion to Blessed Michael McGivney.
