Maybe this is old news, I don’t know. I’ve been alternately on vacation and catching up from vacation on and off for the last six weeks. I’m actually on vacation right now. I know, it sounds like a lot of vacation. Not really. I just save it up all year and then blow through it all within a couple months, usually around July-August-ish.
Whatever. My point is that I missed this when it came out in mid-July. But it’s worth reading.
Bishop Paprocki, for those of you who don’t already know, is a black and purple clad superbishop of superbishopology who can superbishop like no other. He takes teaching the Truth clearly and with love to a whole new level. Seriously, he’s probably the best bishop since maybe Augustine. You should all pay more attention to him. Anyway, Bishop Paprocki recently addressed a letter to his diocese in which he affirmed some comments made by Archbishop Chaput, and in the process basically cleared up every single question anybody has ever had regarding communion for the divorced and re-married.
Just read it. It’s short. Here.
And yes, I know you think this has nothing to do with Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton or the election, but it does.
I hope you aren’t waiting for more of an explanation. I told you I’m on vacation.
