Democrats have sounded the alarm.
And the Biden team is in full panic mode.
That’s because Trump is leading Biden in every Michigan poll taken in the last five months!
Democrats are trying to convince the corporate media that Biden’s troubles in Michigan are all due to an erosion of support among the large Arab-American community in suburban Detroit.
That explains why Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer called for new elections in Israel and it’s also why the Biden administration is desperate to airdrop humanitarian aid to Gaza.
But they’re only telling you half the story.
There’s another major reason for Michigan voters’ rejection of Biden. And it has to do with blue-collar workers.
My friend Steve Cortes and I published an op-ed for Townhall blowing the cover off of what’s going on in the Rust Belt. Steve is president of the League of American Workers.
We detail the eye-opening poll numbers we discovered in Michigan:
New polling shows a commanding +23% lead for President Trump among Michigan Catholics, a key voting block for November in this super competitive battleground state. Right now, per a survey commissioned by the League of American Workers, Trump earns 54% of the Catholic vote in the Great Lakes State vs. 31% for Biden and undecided at 15%.
We asked these Catholic voters what was driving their decision, and it’s something that isn’t getting noticed in the mainstream media at all: This poll found that 61% of Michigan Catholics favored Trump on economic policy, with only 30% backing Biden on pocketbook issues.
Clearly, inflation and Biden’s EV mandate have caused major economic anxiety among Michigan voters.
Another finding from this poll might really open your eyes:
Secondly, rank-and-file Catholics clearly reject Biden on the immigration enforcement, and similarly disagree with many in the Catholic hierarchy who espouse porous borders. When asked to rate the federal government’s job performance on managing the border, a stunning 0% of Michigan Catholics rated it as “very strong” and a whopping 70% said it is “very weak.” That latter number was far higher than even Evangelical Protestants, who lean well to the right politically.
It shouldn’t surprise us that powerful voices in the media will do everything in their power to manipulate public opinion and ignore certain news stories – all for the benefit of their preferred political candidates.
My team is dedicated to organizing and mobilizing the largest Catholic voter turnout machine in U.S. history. Critical to that success is understanding exactly what Catholic voters care about.
We know what it takes to win.
And we are working overtime to get the job done.
Thanks for everything you do for the Catholic vote.
P.S. There’s more fascinating stuff in this exclusive poll of Michigan Catholics, including on abortion. You should definitely check out our op-ed over at Townhall.
