CV NEWS FEED // The 20th-annual Walk for Life West Coast is set for January of 2024 in San Francisco CA, where guests such as LiveAction president Lila Rose will give their testimonies on fighting against abortion.
2024 marks “20 years of standing for the littlest and most vulnerable among us, and 20 years of fearlessly asserting that Abortion Hurts Women,” reads the WLWC website:
While we are challenged and called to greater efforts by the post-Dobbs defeat of pro-life efforts around the country, at the same time we are transcendently encouraged and elated by the fact that at least 32,000 lives have been saved!
LiveAction president and founder Lila Rose will speak at the event, along with Dr. Kimberly Henkel, Kaya Jones, and Rev. Clenard Childress.
Each speaker has a unique testimony and involvement in the pro-life movement, from founding an adoption ministry, to sharing a personal testimony of hope after abortion, among others. Read about the speakers who will be at the upcoming Walk here.
The website highlights a few additions to the upcoming Walk for Life, noting that “the Civic Center playground will be open so your kids will have a place to play before the Walk begins”.
Additionally, the upcoming Walk will have other new interactive features, such as a “selfie” space, pro-life face painting for kids, and free books for kids and adults while supplies last.
“While we are mindful of the challenges ahead, and motivated by the need to make abortion unthinkable, our fundamental orientation is, and always will be, towards joy: the joy of love, of life, and of hope,” the website states.
The Walk for Life will take place January 20, 2024 in San Francisco California, starting at the Civic Center Plaza.
