CV NEWS FEED// Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) has made a document, “Three Lies About the First Amendment and How You Can Debunk Them,” available for free download.
The document exposes three common myths about the First Amendment, empowering Americans to express their convictions without fear of legal repercussions, the ADF press release explains.
ADF is a nonprofit Christian law firm, “committed to protecting religious freedom, free speech, marriage and family, parental rights, and the sanctity of life,” as their website states.
According to the press release, the ADF is “excited to share this with you—because we’ve been on the frontlines of this issue,” as their success includes “winning 15 U.S. Supreme Court victories since 2011 and working to protect foundational First Amendment rights for everyone.”
The ADF has been involved in the victories of high-profile Supreme Court cases like Dobbs Vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Thomas More Law Center v. Bonta, and Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission.
Though ADF is a Christian organization, they are committed to protecting the First Amendment Rights of citizens of all religious backgrounds. “We’ve also defended the rights of Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and people of no faith. Religious freedom is for everyone,” the website reports.
The organization works internationally, as well, defending religious minorities in legal battles and defending both free speech and religious freedom, according to the ADF website.
