CV NEWS FEED // The parents of Blessed Carlo Acutis have penned a recount of the saintly witness of their son in a recent book, God’s Influencer.
“It’s almost unheard of that parents take part in the beatification of their own child,” an April 14 press release from Sophia Press states. “So too is it uncommon for parents to miraculously be brought back to the Faith by their child. But this happened in the lives of the young parents of Carlo.”
Set to become the first millennial saint, Acutis lived from 1991 to 2006. He will be canonized April 27.
In the book, Carlo’s parents share how his faith matured in aspects of their daily life, including the plan of life he created for himself the day after his First Holy Communion.
The release continues, “Readers of these intimate stories discover how an ordinary life can become extraordinary if we allow God into our lives.”
God’s Influencer shares lessons in virtues like magnanimity, humility, and purity while illustrating how all of creation points to the Eucharist and why “the Real Presence is the source of all holiness, family life, and evangelization.”
